Spring Cleaning seems to be an annual rite of passage for those members of our society who take it upon themselves to make sure that everything is where it needs to be in a home.
One thing that you can do this year that you might have neglected in years past is to take a look at all of those old items that you’ve kept in the drawers, chests, tables bureaus and boxes in the “old” part of the home. It’s amazing that we have so much history in those boxes, we’d never know what to do with it.
So for once, find those things that harken back to another time and another place and see if they can be put to good use. Examine them to see if they are worth saving and see if they need to be restored – because now they can be.
